Cardiothoracic surgeons perform the procedure to bypass blockages or obstructions of the coronary arteries. CABG or Heart bypass surgery is one of the most frequently performed surgeries. Cardiothoracic surgeons have performed more than 49,000 heart surgeries with 98.5% success. The rate for bypass surgeries done over the last one year is 99%. 80% of the bypass operation are now done using the beating heart technique.

• 3 nights stay in the post-surgical Coronary Care Unit (CCU)

Treatment Package Excludes

• Charges for inpatient stays in excess of 9 Nights or stays past the day that the Physician has approved discharge. Stay over the prescribed limit would be charged on addition to the treatment package at the normal rates. 

• Cardiac Catheterization fees and related costs including physician fees.

• Echocardiography and Stress Testing.

• Items of a personal nature such as in-room soft drinks, telephone charges and guest meals will be charged at the normal rates in effect.

• Take-home medications.

• Permanent Pacemakers.

• Endocrinologist fee for Diabetic patient.

Other Services include: 

• Single AC rooms with attached bath, TV, Telephone and with the facility of one Attendant’s stay.

• Blood arrangement for surgery.

• Embassies contact, if required.

• Meals/ Laundry for attendant will be provided by the Hospital
  Acceptance of International Credit Cards/Foreign Currency.

Special Care Package Includes

• 01 night Pre and 7 nights post Hospitalisation stay on CP basis (room + breakfast basis) at Hotel, close to the treating institution (depending upon the kind of treatment)

• Return Airport transfer using Air Conditioned medium car.

• Any expenses of personal nature or any other item not mentioned in the clause “Special Care Package Includes”

• Any contingency expenses or any other item not mentioned above in the clause “ Treatment Package Includes”
  

Add-On Charges:

1. If one or more stents are required, the charges will be added to the package at prevailing rates.

2. Room upgrades are charged at the difference of the room rates.

Note: *Treating institution shall be solely responsible for the treatment and related/unrelated medical issues. Kuoni or DivaCARE or Tour Club Care shall not be responsible for the same.
